Cancellations
In-network insurance plans pay a co-pay and our billing team will submit the claim on your behalf to insurance (courtesy billing).
We also work with all other insurance plans as an out-of-network provider, and submit the claim on your behalf to insurance.
We’re happy to help you understand your individual benefits and, for your convenience, will submit claims on your behalf. We also provide superbills if needed by our clients. Our billing team is always available to assist with any questions.

At New Horizons Counseling & Wellness, your privacy and confidentiality are taken seriously. Information shared in counseling is kept confidential except in limited circumstances required by New Jersey law, including:
Risk of harm: If there is a serious and imminent risk that a client may threaten bodily harm to themselves or another person, we must take steps necessary to protect their safety. This may include contacting emergency services or other appropriate parties, as required by law.
Abuse or neglect: Counselors are mandated reporters in New Jersey. Suspected child abuse, dependent adult abuse, or elder abuse must be reported to the appropriate authorities.
Legal requirements: If we receive a valid court order or subpoena requiring the release of records or testimony, we are required to comply as mandated by law.
Whenever possible and appropriate, we make reasonable efforts to discuss these situations with clients in advance.
